Library

Every guide, no funnel.

21 published guides. Filter by topic or search the title.

This library is organized around the four constraints that decide a charter week: cost, destination, contract, and insurance. The guides are written to be read in that order when you are planning, and individually when you already know which constraint is blocking you.

What each hub answers

HubQuestion it answersStart with
CostWhat does the week actually cost, not just the base rate?Calculator
DestinationsWhere does the fleet sail, and how does the region change the bill?Costs by region
Charter basicsWhat documents, licenses, and contracts hold it together? The paperwork
InsuranceWho covers what, and how big is your deposit exposure?Deposits & waivers

Three ways to use it

Planning from scratch. Read the cost hub first, then destinations and logistics. Stop when a number rules out the week; there is no point comparing yachts if the all-in budget cannot carry one.

Fixing one problem. Use the search box or the category filter. The problem guides — APA reconciliation, VAT tiers, deposit waivers, tipping norms — are written to stand alone.

Comparing options. Start with the format comparison, then the operator review. A review without the contract and cost context is just a brochure.

Not sure where to start? Begin with the constraint that cannot change. If the license is the limit, read the logistics guide first. If the calendar is the limit, start with destination seasons. If the budget is the limit, start with the cost hub and the calculator.

How the library is maintained

Every guide lists its sources and an update date. We correct errors and add new guides as operators change terms and regional rules change. If a page looks out of date, email contact@superyachtcharterguide.com with the URL and the correction.

Guide library questions

How often are the guides updated?

Cost, contract, and destination guides are rechecked when fleet terms, VAT rules, or operator lineups change; the library is reviewed on a rolling twelve-month cycle.

Do you accept paid rankings?

No. An operator cannot buy a place in a comparison, a score, or a best-of list. Affiliate links are disclosed on every page.

How do I report an error?

Email contact@superyachtcharterguide.com with the URL and a source. Corrections with a source are handled first.
